And yet, it is all within close proximity of the main centre including Countdown supermarket just a 2 minute drive. If you prefer the walk, it's only 20-minutes and you can explore the Oamaru town centre and historic (Victorian) precinct including the Harbour, Forrester Gallery, Opera House, North Otago Museum, mysterious Steampunk HQ and various local dining options. And then, it is only 7-10minutes drive to the world's smallest Little Blue penguins and Yellow Eyed penguins.

Eden Gardens Backpackers consists of single, twin and multi-share rooms, all with heaters. The shared ensuite bathroom has an endless hot water supply. Free unlimited WIFI internet access, washing machine, self-catering kitchen, free on-site and off-street Parking.

We can accommodate up to 20 guests and suitable for independent travellers, group and family gatherings.
