A really wonderful place, perfect hosts,lovely room, delicious breakfast - highly recommended! We had a wonderful three nights at Kingfisher's B&B. Brigitte and Steve were great hosts, the room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. But what is really exceptional is the setting: wonderful location, close to great beaches, totally quiet, fantastic birdsong, and the farm itself is a delight (chickens, ducks, cows, native woodland, etc.) It was idyllic - and we would love to come again! You would need a car for accessibility.
From Dunedin city centre, GPS will bring you on a route up a winding mountain that gives you splendid view of the sea and farms. However, drive has to be alert and cautious. A mistake could cause you at the foot of the hill or in the water. Of course, there is an alternative route if you don't use the GPS for navigation.
Next, clean and comfortable room for 2 or 3 pax. (beds)
Brigitte kept a beautiful garden around the house
Steve will bring you for an educational tour around the farm.
A short drive to a beach to be up close with Sea Lions. 10Km to the Albatross centre.
Get plentiful of fresh air and away from the bustling life and yet not far from the city centre.
