Moved to 2nd room. Toilet disgusting. Upgraded to a 3rd room. A good room with excellenfaculities. Upside was the shock of reception. She was most apologetic on viewing first 2 rooms and went out of her way to help us. She would have to be one of the best at the hotel. Stayed 25/26 may on a deal promising upgrade to a superior room. Room was very clean, except for hairs left on bathroom floor, and spacious but hardly superior. Audio/visual equipment very dated and limited. Most decor in hotel is dated - perhaps in keeping with the victorian image of the town. But staff were very friendly and helpful. Great stay should have stayed another night. Friendly staff and the whole cooked flounder for dinner was the best!. Staff were outstanding: flexible attentive and friendly. TV channels not according to directions but can be coped with. Excellent room. Simon Stephens Stayed Monday 23 to Thursday 26 April 2012 inclusive Staff were awesome, loved the 11am check out :)
Older building but was a nice stay. |
