Very welcoming and good service of the room. Would definitely stay here again!. I read reviews before booking this stay and felt like the place i slept was opposite. Everyone said clean! but no no no i found the room rather unpleasant!!!
i opened the door to be greeted with a 'disposable wet nappy smell' it was quite nauseating. I tried to keep the door open to air the room but on return from our dinner out the smell was back with advengance.
The carpet had a trail of bleach/ discolouration that went along the lounge carpet. I was very cautious of putting anything on the floor as i felt the longish pile carpet could harbour anything. The combination of the carpet appearance and the terrible aroma had us paranoid about what was soiled in the room.
In the bedroom and bathroom there were brown splatters up the walls, unknown what it was and if it was basic house keeping missed?
the bed in the lounge (classed as king) was two single/ seperate beds pushed together that had obvious ridges on the edges on the mattresses, not good it you wanted to be in the middle . Stayed in the large family room, which was spacious, warm and clean. Very friendly hosts, who even rang after departure to advise we had left something behind. Highly recommended!. A super clean, super comfortable place in a super handy location with super friendly hosts!. Lovely people to deal with very helpful and friendly. Nice place to stay . Thanks very much. |
